As
purebred breeders, we know the lineage of every animal born on our farm. We
know the mothers and fathers. We know the great grandmothers and great
grandfathers. Each calf is registered and extensive data is collected and
maintained throughout the animal's life. We know exactly what they eat: our
grass and custom blend of locally grown grains. No feed antibiotics or hormones
ever. We know the health history of every animal and it is documented. |

We are supported by a herd veterinarian and a state veterinarian. We are
members of a new cutting edge program for herd health run by the state of New
York called NYSCHAP (New York State Cattle Health Assurance Program). We have
daily contact with every animal on our farm, and we treat them with the respect
and dignity they deserve. |
